Diane J. Bleyer

Diane J. Bleyer is a graduate of Emory University, earning a BBA in Finance and Management. She worked as a Management Consultant, specializing in strategic business planning and implementation for healthcare companies. Through her work, she acquired the skills and inspiration to develop “out of the box/forward thinking” concepts. She is eager to take a stance and represent her passions and ideals, which are evident in her writing and in her personal life.

Native to St. Louis, Missouri, Diane is an active volunteer and community leader. She served as President of Hadassah’s St. Louis Chapter, which is part of a 300,000 member women’s organization. She led a successful campaign to advocate for stem cell research and funding in Missouri. She also served as a Vice President on Hadassah’s Great Plains Region Board, advising multiple Hadassah chapters throughout the Midwest and teaching strategic planning. Diane received the National Hadassah Leadership Award for her service to Hadassah. In addition, she served on United Hebrew Congregation’s board and was a den leader for Boy Scouts of America. She currently serves on a Renewable Energy/Green Team Committee and is a member of the St. Louis Writers Guild and The Association for the Study of Literature & Environment. Diane is the proud mother of three children. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, ping pong, and Mah Jongg.

The clones have been created from DNA extracted from a stolen fetus, Sally, the daughter of renowned geneticist, Alex Bennett, and popular news anchor, Lucinda Monticello-Bridgewater. Alex and Lucinda are fully aware that they have one cloned daughter, Valerie, whose intelligence was enhanced at the expense of being incapable of fitting into society, but they could never have imagined that they have more living offspring, many more.

Forced into an illicit scheme, Alex, Lucinda, Valerie, and Sally must search for the truth. What will happen to the clone population? Will they be accepted by society to represent the ideal future human race that can withstand climate change? Or like Valerie, will they struggle with their unique place in life?
